UMGSA Emergency Grant

*ANNOUNCEMENT – OCTOBER 8, 2024*

Thank you for your interest in the UMGSA Emergency Grant program. At this time the program has been paused pending a review of the process and engagement with our campus partners. We are excited to explore the opportunity to provide a redeveloped program that will better meet the needs of graduate students. Please connect back to this webpage regularly for updates on the launch of this new program.

The University of Manitoba Graduate Student Association Emergency Grant program provides assistance to students who experience unexpected and immediate financial difficulties, constraints or hardship. This includes, but is not limited to, unanticipated personal living costs, unexpected delays in government loans, and other award funding.

The Grant program is administered in conjunction with the Faculty of Graduate Studies.

Please access the procedures for the application here and the application itself here.
