Graduate Student Fall Orientation

Each year the UMGSA, Student Life and the Faculty of Graduate Studies work together to organize Fall Orientation for incoming graduate students at the University of Manitoba.  This year’s event will be Tuesday, September 5 and Wednesday, September 6, 2017.

This comprehensive orientation includes a welcome session, a campus tour, lunch on each day, a resource fair, and workshops that provide information to:

  • ease your transition into graduate school
  • introduce you to campus services and involvement opportunities and
  • show you just how much the University of Manitoba has to offer.

The Graduate Student Orientation is not intended to take the place of your departmental orientation. If your school or department has planned orientation activities on September 5 and/or 6, you should attend those events.

To register for these sessions and for more information, please visit the Faculty of Graduate Studies website.
