Healthy Relationships Workshop
The Sexual Violence Resource Centre (SVRC) is pleased to announce Healthy Relationships, which is replacing the previous Bringing in the Bystander (BITB) course. Healthy Relationships is a newly developed 3-hr workshop that will be facilitated through the Sexual Violence Resource Centre. This peer-facilitated workshop will foster a shared culture of consent on campus by providing students with a broad and practical knowledge of consent, sexual violence and sexual health & boundaries, with special focus on university-related relationships, campus community responsibilities and related resources. The workshop is designed to be highly interactive, with small group activities and larger group discussions included in each section. Below are some tips to help you register:
- Space is limited for each workshop, register early to secure your preferred date!
- If it says that registration is ‘closed’ that means all the spaces plus the waitlist for that date are full and no additional registrations can be accommodated
- Each person must register individually, meaning multiple people will not be allowed to register under one name (i.e. one person can’t register on behalf of the entire executive team)
- Due to the nature of the course, please make sure you are available for the whole 2.5 hr duration of the course. If you know you may arrive late or have to leave early, we kindly advise you to register for a different date or email us for information on further sessions. Late entry is not permitted
