Holiday Hamper Program

Dear fellow Graduate Students,
As we approach the end of the year, we at the University of Manitoba Graduate Student Association would like to acknowledge your accomplishments, hard work, and resilience shown during this long and especially challenging year.
We hope you enjoy the well-deserved break, but we are aware that not everyone has the financial capability to do so. In order to provide additional support to anyone currently facing such a challenge, we are pleased to announce that the UMGSA Holiday Hamper Program is now open.
This program is intended to support only graduate students in need of financial assistance.
If you consider yourself in financial need and would like to receive a hamper, please fill out the application form using this link:
The deadline for submissions is 8 pm on December 8st, 2021 (CST). Late applications will NOT be considered. All personal information collected will be kept confidential by the UMGSA office.
Please note that there are a limited number of hampers available, and students will be selected after a review of all submitted applications. If your application is successful, you will be sent an email with further instructions on how the hamper would be made available to you.

U of M Food Bank: If you are in need of food, the University of Manitoba Food Bank is delivering hampers of non-perishables. You may request a Hamper once every 3 weeks.
- Requests for hamper support should be sent to: foodbank@Umanitoba.ca
- Requests must include: full name, student #, contact phone #, and delivery address (students may be full- or part-time, but must be enrolled in the term they are seeking support in)
